Here is the series of questions we asked people in the museum:
1:Where do you live?
2:What do you think about Glasgow and Glaswegians and this museum?
3:What do you think about the French, French music and cinema?
4:What do you think about English people and traditions?
Lena Lawson:
1: The East End of Glasgow
2:" I Like Glasgow, I think it's quite a friendly place, I think it's getting the best city of culture."
3: " I like the French and my cousin has got a house in France. I like some French music, yeah I do."
4: " I quite like English people, but I think there is a big difference between English people and Scottish people. There's a division I think, basically English and Scottish people are not getting on really quite well."
Gina:
1: " I live in East Kibride, 10 miles outside of Glasgow"
2: "This museum covers all areas and all ages, all the artifacts and sculptures. You phone up, make an appointment and they'll show you what you wanted to see. But there's far too much to show all the time. "
3: " I don't know much French music, but I've been to France and I enjoyed it, people are friendly."
4:" oh! that's ok! It depends, it's person to person. It doesn't bother me. English people don't bother me. They are more inclined to join Europe and the single currency (euro)"
Thanks to our lovely receptionists at the Youth Hostel, we came to terms with the final part of this transcription, so thank you Kristopher and David from Kilmarnock.
